Total Care Pharmacy is in the eye of the drug pricing storm. As American government officials, regulatory boards, pharmaceutical firms and consumers clash over this health crisis, our pharmacy has emerged as a strong advocate and source of safe medications. It's no wonder this issue, and our pharmacy, have gained major media attention in the past few years. Our industry is changing - and we're changing it.
Our Roots Total Care Pharmacy was created by pharmacists David Robertson, Brent Grantham, Daren Jorgenson, and Vice President of Sales & Marketing Lewis Jorgenson. It began as a part-time experiment in providing accessible medication to Americans. In the five short years since its inception, Total Care Pharmacy has grown to become one of the largest mail order pharmacies in Canada. Thousands of Americans now consider our pharmacy their best source for top-quality medications.
Our Reputation As more Americans look north of the border for safe medications, Total Care Pharmacy is more determined than ever to provide a safe, respected Canadian pharmacy source.
We do everything possible to remain on the cutting-edge of mail order practice, and constantly seek new ways to offer the highest quality service in the industry. We have pioneered pharmacy software and customer care systems which are improving the way pharmacies do business.
Our pharmacy management system, "RxQTM", was developed to help us process orders quickly, accurately and safely. We created our Cyber Clinic to ensure our patients have access to precise, personal health and medication advice. We continue to combine the skills of our team with the efficiency of our software, in order to maintain the highest levels of pharmacy practice.
The Next Step In the future, Total Care Pharmacy hopes to work alongside government, industry and consumer groups to find a permanent solution for this drug cost crisis. Meanwhile, we will continue to provide a viable alternative medication source for Americans, and we will continue to advocate the right of all Americans to accessible, safe Canadian prescription drugs.

Total Care Pharmacy is at the heart of the re-importation debate in the United States, and our pharmacy has received major media attention.
A serious problem Many seniors take organized bus trips north of the border to purchase safe Canadian medication. A bill which would allow Americans to buy Canadian drugs at Canadian prices was recently proposed in the Senate.
CNN report:"'The drug companies don't like this bill, and the reason they don't like this bill is they think it's going to be effective,' said Sen. Slade Gorton of Washington."
A fresh approach. Total Care Pharmacy offers patients the opportunity to buy safe medications and have them delivered directly to their homes.
Wall Street Journal report: "While politicians stand on their soapboxes and wail about high prescription-drug prices in the U.S., a growing number of Americans are quietly finding a solution. The Internet is a far more convenient alternative than the well-publicized bus trips to Canada organized for seniors last year by sympathetic legislators."
A popular alternative. Total Care Pharmacy takes center stage in the growing debate over high prescription drug costs in the U.S.
NBC report: "Like many of us, Emilie Higgins from Whitemarsh Township has medicines she must take, some for the rest of her life.'If I wasn't getting it the way I'm getting it now, then I would have to borrow from my daughter,' Emilie said. 'I would probably do without it or take half of it, I know some people who do that.'"
ABC with Peter Jennings report: Don Bozarth, Colorado businessmen and online pharmacy customer states: "In fact, if the trend continues, perhaps it will force the drug companies to do something about their high prices."
A heated debate. Large U.S. pharmaceutical firms, threatened by the popularity of the Canadian prescription option, attempt to restrict drug supplies to Canada. GlaxoSmithKline, a major U.S. drug company, takes the extreme step of stopping all prescription drug supplies to Canadian online pharmacies. Total Care Pharmacy unites with American seniors groups to protest this unnecessary ban, which attempts to deny Americans the right to seek alternative sources for affordable medicine.
The Philadelphia Inquirer and the New York Times: Our collective places a full-page ad denouncing the ban and encouraging concerned citizens to take positive action to reverse Glaxo's decision, and a protest takes place outside GlaxoSmithKline's Philadelphia headquarters.
Time Magazine tagline: "How the clamor for cheap Canadian imports is heating up the 2004 campaign and giving Washington a headache."
At Total Care Pharmacy, we hope the years to come will be just as interesting and rewarding.
